Ultima Salon 2
The Revel Ultima Salon2 is the highest expression of Revel technology and performance in loudspeaker design and achieves previously unmatched performance. Offering an elegant, designer-friendly appearance and unparalleled sound quality, the Salon2 is a four-way system with three 8-inch woofers, a 6½-inch mid-woofer, 4-inch midrange and 1-inch tweeter. Its sophisticated design even extends to the cast aluminum input and control panel, which is hidden from view, yet easily accessible. The smoked access panel continues the elegant shape of the cabinet, even when viewed from the side or rear.

Performa F52
A five-driver, three-way design, the Performa F52 includes a trio of high performance 6½-inch woofers that incorporate our exclusive Organic Ceramic Composite cone technology, which provides the ultimate combination of rigidity and lightness. Featuring butyl surrounds and high strength magnetic motor structures, together these woofers provide the deep bass response commonly associated with a much larger single driver, along with low distortion and wide frequency response, allowing a much narrower cabinet profile. The 5¼-inch OCC cone midrange driver is similarly equipped, and is housed in its own sub-enclosure within the F52’s elegant cabinet, which is constructed of thick and acoustically inert MDF and features substantial internal bracing for added rigidity.
The F52
tweeter assembly features a proprietary 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter
housed in an integrated Constant Acoustic Impedance waveguide, which
provides both optimum acoustic loading as well as optimized horizontal
and vertical dispersion. The result is a virtually seamless transition
from the midrange to the treble frequencies that also provides virtual
acoustic invisibility, where the tweeter itself cannot be localized as
an individual driver.
As with other
Performa models, each F52 is individually calibrated during production,
hand-tuned to within a fraction of a decibel to the production
reference standard, assuring unparalleled unit-to-unit consistency.
Three physically separated high order, steep slope crossovers each
feature tight tolerance components, and two pairs of inputs on the rear
panel allow for bi-wiring or bi-amping, while a precision tweeter
adjustment allows fine tuning of the high frequency balance in exact ½
dB increments.
The Performa F52 is available in your choice of elegant wood veneer finishes – cherry or black ash.

In Wall I30
Designed for discerning audiophiles, the I30 offers the superior, uncolored sound that is the hallmark of Revel speakers. Capable of much more than just background music, the in-walls benefit from Revel’s innovative technologies, rigorous engineering standards, and comprehensive listening evaluations. The I30 and matching I20 reproduce realistic, accurate sound with minimal coloration and distortion, making them suitable for the primary listening space.
Combining uncompromised Revel sound with versatility, the I30 exceeds
even the highest expectations for in-wall speakers. Like the acclaimed
Revel Ultima and Performa speakers, the I30 and matching I20 were
subjected to meticulous listening evaluations. As a result, these
in-walls are ideal complements to Ultima or Performa front speakers in
multichannel setups. They are also perfectly suited as front and
surround speakers in complete in-wall setups, or stereo pairs in
secondary listening spaces.
For
decades, speaker engineers have characterized the “ideal diaphragm
material” as stiff, light, and durable. Constructed with a new material
called Organic Ceramic Composite (OCC), the I20 and I30 midrange and
woofers represents a milestone toward the attainment of that ideal.
Stiffer than conventional metal and lighter than most plastic or other
composite materials, OCC is a superior material for driver diaphragms.
When used in midrange and woofer applications, OCC offers more accurate
pistonic operation over the entire frequency spectrum of the driver,
dramatically reducing distortion and eliminating coloration due to
breakup. The I20 and I30 both feature a 1-inch tweeter with a pure
titanium dome. Like the OCC midrange and woofer, the titanium dome
behaves like an ideal piston throughout its frequency range. Ferrofluid
liquid cooling contributes to freedom from dynamic compression and
helps assure high power handling.
