British Loudspeaker Powerhouse Bowers and Wilkins Joins Forces with Digital Ear
Digital Ear, Southern California’s leading distributor of audio and visual technologies, has recently complemented their collection of fine home theater systems with B & W.
July 31 2009 - West Coast, US; Digital Ear, who has provided Southern California’s most discerning audiophiles with the absolute best in stereo and home theater entertainment, has recently added the luxury loudspeaker manufacturers Bowers and Wilkins (B & W) to their anthology of high grade audio and visual technologies. Digital Ear has the largest showroom of luxury audio and video products on the West Coast and will proudly carry B & W products this month. The showroom is already a preferred distributor of other quality brands, including Meridian, Focal, Burmester and Mark Levinson.
Some of the most recent introductions to the B & W brands are the “Zeppelin” iPod speaker systems and the “Jaguar XJ” audio system. Making its premiere in 2007, the Zeppelin’s ergonomic design established a vision for the bold, simple and compact shape intermingled with the pureness in sound and music. Inspired by the iconic styling of the digital music player, the “Zeppelin” complemented the iPod interface by designing a docking station that allows the user to grasp the player as if it were still in the user’s hand.
In July of2009, B & W released its latest in-car audio system, the “Jaguar XJ,” which features such innovations as aluminum dome tweeters and Kevlar drive units. The 20 speaker, 15 channel system has been fine tuned and calibrated by expert sound engineers. The “Jaguar XJ” also utilizes Flowport technology with reduces turbulence for optimum airflow out of a speaker cabinet with minimum noise. The device also has the capability to stream video from an iPod or USB memory stick, show digital TV and DVDs and play music from the hard disc drive and Bluetooth audio stream.
Digital Ear not only carries premiere audio and visual technologies, but also offers expert services in home theater, white glove installation and custom design.
